Gordon Ramsay’s Heddon Street Kitchen

Neil and I recently visited Gordon Ramsay’s Heddon Street Kitchen for some outdoor dining when we were on a day out shopping in London. We had such a lovely time and the food was exemplary.

We started with a cocktail each. I had a Sea Goose which was Grey Goose l’orange vodka, peach purée, fresh cranberry, grapefruit and lemon. Neil had a Carrie Bradshaw (the leading lady of my favourite throw back tv series incidentally). This had Grey Goose citron vodka, Aperol, blood orange liqueur and lemon. Both were divine.

We didn’t have a starter or bread as we were saving ourselves for dessert but the bread look heavenly and fresh from the oven.

I had the caesar salad which was full of soft boiled egg, crispy pancetta slithers, anchovies and aged parmesan. Of course it was up there with any caesar salad I’ve had before.

Neil had steamed sea bream which came with braised leeks, cherry tomatoes, samphire and brown shrimps. He had truffle brie mashed potato as a side. It was utterly delicious and even I as a non mashed potato fan would order it next time.

For dessert I had pineapple and kiwi carpaccio, passion fruit, lime and coconut sorbet. Neil had sticky toffee pudding with clotted cream ice cream.

It was so lovely to eating, drinking and laughing in the open air and see everyone smiling and enjoying themselves. It’s so good that we are starting to get a bit of normality back. I’m so looking forward to more lovely times out and about.
