When it’s scorching outside these are the most refreshing treats. Full of zesty lime and ice cold they go down a storm in a heatwave.

Makes 4

Ingredients

250ml lemonade

1 measure gin

Juice of half a lime

1/2 lime cut into slices and then quarters

1/2 lemon cut into slices and then quarters

Method

Cut your halves of lime and lemon into slices and then quarters remembering to take out the pips.

Pour your lemonade and gin into a jug and add the lemon and lime quarters.

Now cut your whole lime in half and squeeze into the mix. Scrape out all of the juicy bits of lime getting as much in as possible. I do this with a sharp knife.

Swirl around and pour into your lolly moulds. Freeze until set. I freeze them overnight just to be sure.
