This fairy tale hideaway hotel holds a special place in mine and Neil’s hearts as this is where he whisked me away to and proposed to me. I feel a really affinity with France and it is definitely one of my favourite places in the world.

La Chèvre d’Or really is the most stunningly beautiful hotel and there are not enough words to describe how romantic and captivating this cliff side château is. Overlooking the Côte d’Azur in the village of Éze, the panoramic views are breathtaking. It really is sophistication and elegance itself.

The hotel restaurant has been awarded two Michelin Stars and rightly so as the food is exquisite. The cocktails are to die for. Sipping these overlooking one of the Riviera’s most ravishing settings is an experience we will treasure forever. I was too caught up to be taking photo’s but here is one of the breakfast which was just lovely.

I cannot recommend this beautiful hotel enough and we really hope to return here in the future.
