Sesame Salmon

If you fancy a quick and healthy dinner then this is ideal and can be served with so many options. I like to have with garlic and feta baby roasted potatoes and a salad but its equally as delicious with rice and vegetables. Make sure not to forget the lemon and lime wedges when the salmon is cooked too as they really give the salmon a zing.


2 salmon fillets

1 tablespoon of runny honey

half a lemon squeezed over the salmon and half to serve

half a lime squeezed over the salmon and half to serve

1 tablespoon of sesame seeds

1 teaspoon of paprika

2 clove of garlic – minced


Pre heat oven to 180C.

Line a baking sheet with greaseproof paper and place your salmon inside.

Drizzle over the honey, sprinkle over the paprika and minced garlic.

Squeeze over the lemon and lime juices and leave the fruit in the dish while the salmon is roasting.

Finally sprinkle over the sesame seeds and bake in the centre of the oven for 10 minutes.

Serve with fresh lemon and lime wedges to squeeze over and whatever takes your fancy.
