This milkshake is fabulous on a hot day. I had something similar to these on the beach in Marbella so I’ve created my own version and they have such a holiday feel! They are ice cold, frothy and delicious and I promise you will make these more than once! I really couldn’t believe how much they taste of banana without the use of any milkshake powder whatsoever. The first time I made these I had to come down in the night to make again – obsessed!
Ingredients
Makes 2
400ml of milk
Cup of crushed ice
3 scoops of vanilla ice cream
1 large banana – mashed
1 measure of Baileys per milkshake
Method
Add your crushed ice, milk, mashed banana and 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream to the blender and whizz away.
Pour into glasses but save your last scoop to divide between the two glasses giving a little stir to make it all creamy and frothy.
Lastly add your measure of Baileys to each milk shake and stir to mix.
Get yourself out in the yard, sit back and enjoy! These are amazing I’m going to make some more delicious variations so keep an eye out for them.
Tip: Of course you can omit the Baileys if you prefer an alcohol free version.
